Taranakis premier wine and food event will be held again on the first Saturday of February 2009 at Taranakis Okurukuru Winery. Sample Taranaki grape and fruit wine, as well as fantastic boutique wines from across NZ, local hand-crafted brews and the best of Taranaki cuisine, while soaking up the sunshine, sounds and stunning views at Okurukuru. 

 

Laid-back Jazz will be followed by some funky upcoming local bands and NZ festival favourites dDub will end the day with a bang. 

 

Proudly supported by the Egmont Lions club — proceeds from this year’s event will go to local Alzheimers and Huntington disease charities, with a target of $10,000 to be raised. 

 

2009 sees the return of the hugely popular best-dressed competition with prizes for men and women.
